I have significant experience planning and delivering academic conferences and other events, including:

  • QUORUM (2017 – 2018)
    • the annual Drama Department lecture series comprised of 7 speakers including Jen Harvie, Arabella Stanger, and Duska Radosavljevic
  • QMUL Drama PhD Symposium (June 2017, June 2018)
    • the annual symposium for first- and second-year PhD candidates in the Department of Drama
  • Widening the Net (March 2017)
    • a symposium between the Drama and Media Arts and Technology departments to promote cross-department and cross-school (English and Drama, Engineering and Computer Science) knowledge exchange, collaboration, and dialogue
  • Dramaturgs’ Network Stammtisch 2016 – 2017
    • Designed, implemented, organised and advertised the monthly ‘Stammtisch’ meeting for early career dramaturgs, academics, playwrights, directors and actors to meet with experienced dramaturgs, ask questions about the field and strategies for employment, for rehearsal-room participation, and literary management

  • Department of Graduate Studies Sub-Committee, Drama Representative 2018-2020
    • Includes attending committee meetings, liaising between the Director of Graduate Studies and PhD candidates
    • Led designing the new PhD work-space for the School of English and Drama
  • Department of Drama and Media/Arts/Technology (Engineering) Motion-Capture Working Group Organiser, 2019-
    • Initiated the motion-capture working group to be trained in various mocap technologies and build research questions around these materials
    • Consider strategies for using VR in the practice-based performance classroom
    • Communicate across departments to organise sessions
